Our Individual Coaching

• These one-on-one English training courses comprise of six sessions of 45 minutes. During the course, you will pursue a specific objective (as specified by you in your registration form) together with a native speaker.
• The course timing is flexible. Your lessons can take place at any time and do not necessarily have to align with the university's semester schedule.
• You arrange your personal lessons with your coach to match up your objectives with the course schedule as effectively as possible.

• Please note that each SprInt participant is eligible for one individual coaching slot per calendar year.

• This training can be credited towards the Language Expertise and Excellence certificates.

Please make sure to phrase the topic you wish to work on as precisely as possible. Possible topics include:

• Preparing a lecture/ presentation
• Formal communication (written/oral)
• Upcoming negotiations with international partner universities and maintaining contacts
• Supervision of an English-language study program
• Developing and practicing subject-specific vocabulary
• Building confidence in communicating with English-speaking colleagues or partners
• Preparing for events or consultations
• Refreshing language skills and speaking more fluently
• In-depth speaking training to overcome difficulties in everyday language use

Registration and placement test:

You can find the registration form here. After applying, you will receive a confirmation from the SprInt Program. In the next step, you will be contacted by our external language school linguarama so as to take a written test and determine your level. They will then arrange an appointment with you to verify your communication skills and discuss your requirements.

Cancellation:

If you are absent from your coaching appointment without informing your coach or cancel the meeting after 12:00 pm the day before without naming a reason, an attendance restriction of six months will come into effect and you will be unable to participate in our events during this period.

Information on data protection:

In compliance with SprInt’s data protection regulations, your personal data will be transferred to the external course provider linguarama, who then take over the rest of the organization. Your data will be used exclusively for the purposes of organizing the language courses and will not be transferred to third parties.
