Examples for items of the questionnaire
In the questionnaire, we ask questions about innovation, error culture, and well-being. In the following, you can read about some of the items we are asking the participants:
Innovation:
- Whenever I work, I improve something in our organization.
(answer options: fully disagree/ disagree/ neither-nor/ agree/ fully agree) - I search out new working methods, techniques, or instrument.

Error culture:
- When someone makes an error, (s)he shares it with others so that they don’t make the same mistake.

Job satisfaction:
- How satisfied are you with your work in general?
(answer scale ranging from 1/ extremely dissatisfied to 7/ extremely satisfied)
Ressources & stressors:
- How often do you get help and support from your colleagues, if needed?
- How often is your immediate superior willing to listen to your problems at work, if needed?
- How often do you have to work faster than normal in order to complete your work?
- The job allows me to make a lot of decision on my own.
(answer options: fully disagree/ disagree/ neither-nor/ agree/ fully agree) - My manager supports me in implementing good ideas as soon as possible.

Well-being:
- Physical fatigue involves extreme physical tiredness and an inability to engage in physical activity. During the past 4 weeks, how often did you feel physically exhausted at the end of the workday?
