Key Action 2 - Alliances for Innovation
The aim of the program is the cooperation and the flow of knowledge between training centers and companies in the European network to increase the labor market relevance of education and teaching, including university and vocational training (e.g. development of internships, practice-oriented modules, measures to develop the entrepreneurship spirit)
In principle, two lots are distinguished within the Alliances for Innovation,
- Los 1: Alliances for education and enterprises (formerly known as Knowledge Alliances) and
- Los 2: Alliances for sectoral cooperation on skills (formerly Sector Skills Alliances).
Within the framework of Lot 1 Alliances, projects with the following aims can be implemented:
- Development of new learning and teaching methods
- Encouraging initiative and entrepreneurial attitudes, mindsets and skills
- Improving the quality and relevance of skills
- Facilitating the flow of knowledge and the co-creation of knowledge
- Connected and inclusive systems for higher education and vocational education and training
Eligibility Criteria

Eight full partners established in at least four EU Member States and/or third countries associated with the programme.

At least three labor market actors (enterprises or representative intermediary organisations) and at least three education and training providers (VET providers and higher education institutions)

Each proposal should involve at least one higher education institution and one VET provider as full partners.
