More than 600 university lecturers are currently appointed at Saxony’s largest university. Furthermore, TU Dresden provides highly qualified junior researchers the opportunity of working as Junior Professors. TU Dresden’s excellence in teaching and research is directly dependant on the competences and goals of its professors. Therefore, it is our highest priority to conduct the appointment procedure of professors in a transparent, gender equal, swift and fair manner.

Temporarily vacant chairs at TU Dresden are filled by deputy professorships (only within TUD). Renowned leading researchers and junior researchers are invited to work as Visiting Professors. Further information about the current programmes is available here.
