What is the legal basis for processing personal data?
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 letter a) GDPR (consent).
What personal data is processed?
In order to fulfill the contact request and to establish contact within the sTUDies 3.0 teaching strategy program, your e-mail address is processed as mandatory data. In addition, you can provide voluntary information such as title, surname, first name, pronoun or institution/institute/faculty.
How long will personal data be stored?
The personal data will be deleted upon revocation.
Is personal data transmitted to third parties?
Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you have expressly consented in individual cases, no personal data will be transferred to third parties.
What are the basic rights of data subjects?
To exercise the rights, a notification in text form (letter or e-mail) to the person responsible is sufficient. The consent can be revoked at any time in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR with the consequence that the personal data of the person concerned will not be further processed. The lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation remains unaffected.
You have the right to request information about the data processed about you and the possible recipients of this data at any time. In addition, you can request the correction, deletion and restriction of data processing.
Furthermore, you have a right to data portability. You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority for data protection. The competent supervisory authority is the Saxon Data Protection Commissioner, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, www.datenschutz.sachsen.de.
