The TU Dresden campus is home to an impressive concentration of listed buildings from various eras, from historicism to socialist modernism. Most of the buildings are still used for their original purpose as teaching and research facilities and are therefore a living part of the university's history. The tour focuses on the names and specific naming processes of the individual buildings, particularly with regard to scientists who worked at the Technische Hochschule Dresden during the National Socialist era.
