Creating explanatory videos! - A workshop on stop-motion and cutout techniques

• A workshop by BQL.Digital for the Dresden Science Night
• 5 to 8 pm, on 14.06.2024
• Ludwig-Ermold-Straße 3, 01217 Dresden

As the title suggests, after a short introduction, the workshop from BQL.Digital will get straight down to DIY: Explanatory videos are created! All the necessary materials, including animation boxes, crafting utensils, characters, tablets, apps, tripods and lighting, as well as a storyboard template, are ready and waiting. So nothing stands in the way of video production!

Explanatory films on topics such as "Fairy tales - past and present" or "Me & my hobby" can be filmed with the prepared material. But there is also plenty of room for your own ideas. Once a theme has been found, storyboards are created and their video concepts are then implemented using the cutout or stop-motion technique. The finished videos can be taken home directly.

This workshop is suitable for participants of all ages and levels of experience.

BQL.Digital (BQL = German abbreviation for “Second-Career Qualification of Teachers”) is the online service for lateral entry at TU Dresden. In the online course on the OPAL learning platform, you can find information on lateral entry, access important documents on TU Dresden’s lateral entry subjects, and use learning modules to further your education on digital topics in the “BQL.Learn” area. Likewise, digital support is available to advise and assist you, while also supporting you with its digital office hours and via email:
