Poster: Conflict analysis
A poster to visualize and thematize different assessments of conflicts.
Here is the PDF in DIN A 1 format (59.4 cm x 84.1 cm)
Negotiating interests and values is an essential feature of deliberative democracy. But where there are interests, there are often conflicts. What constitutes a conflict and how serious it is, however, is perceived differently by different people. This poster makes different assessments visible and encourages people to discuss their causes.
Didactic commentary:
It is often forgotten that political education is not about harmony, but about conflict. Because without conflict there can be no politics. However, the perception of conflicts is often quite different. It is therefore worth discussing which conflicts are perceived as more acute than others - and why. This poster can help with this. It offers various example conflict descriptions that participants can rate as more or less acute using a scale. A discussion should then be opened about why differences have become apparent here and how such conflicts can be resolved.
What else do I need?
The poster is particularly suitable for a points survey - but then you will need sticky dots. If you don't have any at hand, you can also use markers or pens.
