TU Dresden is host to numerous programs offering scholarships and financing to gifted students. The web pages below contain university-wide scholarship programs in addition to scholarship programs for first-semester students in STEM subjects and funding for student athletes.

Thirteen state-funded grant foundations for gifted students have merged to form a group that provides comprehensive individual funding to scholarship holders. 
Grant foundations for gifted students

Each academic year, the Association of Friends and Sponsors of TU Dresden funds up to 13 new students who had excellent grades in school and are beginning their studies in a STEM subject at TU Dresden. 
STEM scholarship

TU Dresden is a partner university of top-level sports and sponsors student athletes studying at TU Dresden with athletics scholarships. This allows these students to combine their academic and athletic careers.
