Simply seeing each other again, getting to know each other and brainstorming together - this was the spirit of this year's Midterm Meeting on the wonder.me event platform.

Since most of the scholarship holders have to study mainly at home again in the summer semester, the midterm meeting should offer a platform to get in touch with fellow students and other students in an informal way.
25 scholarship holders took advantage of the opportunity and met online on wonder.me. The event platform was a new experience for many. With the help of an avatar, the scholarship holders moved around a virtual map with different areas. In each area, they could either get to know one of the Deutschlandstipendium's working groups or gather new ideas for future projects and working groups.As soon as at least two avatars came closer to each other on the map, a video chat opened. In this way, several discussion rounds were formed in the areas of the WGs, in which new participants could be won and many new ideas for future WG work arose. The ideas were recorded on a joint padlet and are now being stored in the WGs' idea repositories or directly implemented.
