Hygiene concept for events of the Center for Continuing Education
In order to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the Center for Continuing Education (ZfW) has taken the following protective measures. They pursue the goal of protecting the participants, workshop leaders and employees of the TU Dresden as best as possible.
Communication
- The participants and the workshop leaders will be informed about the hygiene concept before the workshop begins. Acknowledgement of the hygiene concept must be confirmed by signing the list of participants at the beginning of the workshop.
- Persons with Corona-specific signs of illness (e.g., fever, dry cough, respiratory problems, loss of sense of taste and smell, sore throat and/or body aches, nausea, diarrhea) are not permitted to attend the event and are asked to contact the Health Department.
- For mutual protection, we ask all participants, workshop leaders and employees to perform a self-test on the morning of each workshop day (either at the self-test center, at home or at their own workplace). Employees can use the self-testing center in the Mensa Matrix, Reichenbachstraße 1, 2nd floor. It is open Monday to Friday 7:00 to 18:00 and Sundays 14:00 to 18:00.
- All participants as well as the workshop leaders are registered by name with e-mail address.
Space requirements
- The ZfW chooses appropriately sized rooms for the face-to-face events.
- The classrooms are equipped with an appropriately adapted seating arrangement, which may not be changed.
- The room is extensively aired before, during and after the event.
- Hand hygiene is ensured by providing hand disinfectant.
- The sanitary facilities are located in the building in the immediate vicinity.
- Signs educate participants about hand hygiene and sneezing etiquette.
- Snacks will not be provided.
Workshop execution
- Wearing an FFP2 mask is strongly recommended in the building.
- Workshop breaks will be spent exclusively in the workshop room or outside and not in the hallways of the building.
- Snacks will not be provided.
