The 1^st Thursday of March marks the date again: The Writing Center of TU Dresden (SZD) and SLUB cordially invites you to the Long Night Against Procrastination (LNDS) to get started drafting, connecting your ideas, or even finish writing projects. Productive writing sessions with community, motivation, inspiration and tips against procrastination on 5^th March from 4 to 12 pm. New venue: TextLab of SLUB/ Zweigbibliothek Erziehungswissenschaften, August-Bebel-Str. 18!

Writing Groups and Counselling

If you don’t want to write on our own, you can write in different writing groups guided by our writing tutors. Regardless of whether you are writing a paper, bachelor or master thesis or just working on ideas and questions about your upcoming text: bring it along to the LNDS. Parallel to this, you can get information about different topics concerning scientific writing, taking part in writing counseling and relaxing with desk yoga, a bowl of soup or a smoothie.

Workshops

For those who need some motivation to start writing, you can register for one of the four impulse workshops from 4 – 5.30 pm:

• Structure of Scientific Papers (in English)
• Lost in Literature - wie finde ich den roten Faden? (in german)
• Zeitmanagement beim Schreiben wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten (in German)
• Gekonnt recherchieren - korrekt zitieren: der richtige Umgang mit Fachliteratur (in German)

Continue writing in March with a Writing Marathon

And for all of you who got warmed up at the Long Night and would like to continue writing with company, there will be two Writing Marathon from the 9^th to the 20^th of March 2019.
