This year's conference theme is “On the relationship between equal opportunities & diversity” and it will be hosted in Greifswald by the University's Equal Opportunity Officer.

Advocates for equal opportunities in eastern German universities will meet on September 1 and 2 for a conference of five states at the University of Greifswald. At the invitation of the State Conference of Equal Opportunities Officers for Universities and Research Institutions of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, those attending the event will discuss current equal opportunity policies and strategies at universities in the new federal states with speakers from politics and research.

You can look forward to various information events, discussions and workshops under the umbrella of “On the relationship between equal opportunities & diversity.”

This conference representing five German states immediately precedes the Federal Conference of Women’s and Equal Opportunities Officers at Universities at the end of September and can thus provide an impetus for gender equality work nationwide.
