Breaching the borders in AI - China as a scientific cooperation partner from a cultural perspective
In the framework of the Pillars & Umbrellas event series, the CitizienScience.AI model project as a cooperation of the Gender Equality Commissioner and Women's Representative at Dresden University of Technology and the Center for Scalable Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (ScaDS.AI) Dresden/Leipzig is presenting an online speech.

Chi Ziesmann, a native of the People's Republic of China, has been living in Germany for eight years. After his first technical studies in China, he studied Intercultural Communication at Chemnitz University of Technology. Since July 2022, he has been working in the Gender Equality Commissioner and Women's Representative at Dresden University of Technology as a coordinator in the CitizienScience.AI project.
In the format of Dialogue, Chi Ziesmann addresses China as an actor in artificial intelligence research from a cultural perspective. In doing so, he sheds light on ethical aspects, especially with regard to gender equality.
The collaborative project Pillars & Umbrellas is funded by the German federal and state governments as part of the Excellence Strategy.
