- Act on the Equal Treatment of Disabled People (BGG) of 27 April 2002 regulates accessibility in the broadest sense.
- The General Equal Treatment Act (Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz -AGG) of 14 August 2006 aims at preventing or eliminating discrimination based on racial or ethnic origin, sex, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual identity.
- The Disabled Status Identification Card Regulation (Schwerbehindertenausweisverordnung - SchwbAwVO) of 25 July 1991 lays down how to record severe disability.
- Motor Vehicle Assistance Regulation (Kraftfahrzeughilfeverordnung - KfzHV) of 28 September regulates benefits relating to the mobility of persons with disabilities, in particular for the purpose of reaching the workplace.
- Act on the Improvement of Self-determination of People with Disabilities in the Free State of Saxony of 28 May 2004. Article 1 contains the Act on the improvement of the integration of persons with disabilities in the Free State of Saxony (Sächsisches Integrationsgesetz - SächsIntegrG).
- Act on the Execution of the Social Security Code for the Free State of Saxony
of 14 July 2005. Article 2 contains the Act on the Municipal Social Association Saxony (Gesetz über den Kommunalen Sozialverband Sachsen - SächsKomSozVG). - DIN 18040-1 / -3 include construction regulations for barrier-free planning, construction and living.
