Web Communications
The Web Communications team supports and devises web technologies that are tailored towards the specific needs of a university. We are responsible for the provision, conceptualisation and implementation of TU Dresden’s website, which is based on a web content management system (WebCMS). This system allows to present exhaustive information about the university embedded in the valid Corporate Design (CD). The information presented includes the individual institutions and faculties who in turn can present themselves on the corresponding sub-pages. Using the easy-to-use editorial system, websites and content can be created and updated at any time without any HTML or coding skills. The versatile functionalities of the WebCMS are being continuously developed. Users can easily familiarise themselves with the WebCMS during regular training courses.
Should you have any questions regarding the WebCMS, detailed information is available in the internal area of the TUD website and the Web support is ready to assist you with any queries that you might have.

Photo and Video Production
We produce digital photographs for teaching, research and science. This includes architectural photographs, industrial photographs, photographs of objects as well as team and portrait photographs for university purposes. Upon request, we also offer digital image processing. We advise TUD members regarding recording and lighting technology, as well as digital image processing. TUD members can also use the photo studio following a consultation and an induction with the photographer. On top of the numerous photo services, photography equipment can also be borrowed.
Our video productions services range from individual consultations to the creation of creative concepts right up to complete screenplays – if desired. We model objects, generate animations and simulate processes. In short: We can visualise everything – be they objects or processes. The only limit is your own imagination! Do you fancy a product video? Or maybe, you would like an image or advertisement clip, a trailer or even a cinema spot? No problem – all this is feasible, and much more!
