Web Communications
The Web Communications team maintains and develops web technologies that are tailored to university needs. We are responsible for providing and updating TU Dresden’s website, which runs using a Web Content Management System (WebCMS). This system enables us to present extensive information about the university in keeping with our Corporate Design. This includes information about the individual Institutions and Faculties, which can publish their own web pages within this system. The easy-to-use editing system enables users to create and update web pages as well as add content without knowledge of HTML or other programming languages. WebCMS offers comprehensive functions that undergo continual development. Regular training courses provide users with comprehensive knowledge of WebCMS.

Photo & Video Production
Our photography services include the production of digital photographs for teaching, research and science. We produce architectural photographs, product photographs, still-life photographs as well as team and portrait photographs for university purposes. Upon request, we also offer digital image processing. We advise TUD members regarding recording and lighting technology, as well as digital image processing. Additionally, we provide the central Image Pool as a medium for image research for all TU Dresden members. The Image Pool contains a wide range of photographic material that can be used freely for TU Dresden purposes.
Our video production services range from individual consultations and the creation of outlines right up to the shooting and post-production of the video, which we then make available to you. We keep in mind both your target group and the message you want to convey with your video.
