Professor Hans Christian Schmale and Professor Uwe Füssel take the XI Dresden Joining Technology Colloquium 2023 as an opportunity to invite you to join the "Forum Joining Technology and Assembly of TU Dresden" within the Association of Friends and Sponsors of TU Dresden e.V..

Today, alumni work represents an indispensable pillar for bonding and networking alumni (graduates, emeriti, employees) or others who have friendly ties with a scientific institution. They would like to take this trend into account and also establish a circle of friends at the Chair of Joining Technology and Assembly.

The purpose of the forum is to support teaching, education and research in the field of joining technology and assembly at the TU Dresden. Furthermore, the forum will invite to annual events such as the FTM summer festival including a mini-colloquium on current joining technology and assembly topics in order to actively support the alumni spirit.

The founding event of the Forum will take place in the fourth quarter of 2023 as an online conference, for which a separate invitation will be issued following the colloquium.
