Student Vlog about the 2022 Her*(bst)Camp
TU Dresden's “Her*(bst)Camp” seeks to get female pupils excited about sustainability research and engineering. The students Nora and Emily were in charge of the 2022 camp and show some of the participants' impressions in their vlog (in German).
The camp gave the students the opportunity to get a taste of topics related to environmental sustainability, mostly from a technical perspective. The days were filled with theater workshops, guided tours, and group work on themes as diverse as water supply, photovoltaics, and the circular economy. The participants were invited to explore climate crisis issues and potential technical solutions through interactive games and activities.
The student vlogs offer an authentic glimpse into student life. From leisure activities in and around Dresden, to stress when learning or sitting exams: Through the vlogs, prospective students can get to know both individual degree programs and Dresden as a city that is perfect for studying. The videos are uploaded to the YouTube channel “TU Dresden probieren”.
