Fundraising activities for institutions or projects of TU Dresden:
Fundraising campaigns in favor of facilities or projects of TU Dresden are a central component of the diverse activities of the association of friends and sponsors.
The Association of Friends and Sponsors supports the Schools, faculties or chairs of TU Dresden in the implementation and handling of specific fundraising campaigns. Among other things, these have made possible the realization of more elaborate teaching formats such as soil explorations by the Institute of History or the organization of events on the occasion of anniversaries, for example in the field of computer science. Fundraising activities
A central task of the Society’s activities is the initiation of its own fundraising projects. The events of the sponsoring society are primarily used for this purpose. The spectrum ranges from sponsoring the purchase of a new Unimobile for the TU sports groups to supporting restoration work in Office for Academic Heritage, Scientific and Art Collections.
