Totally fair! Christmas wishes for everyone - The children's question show with Julian Janssen (aka "Checker Julian")
What is actually fair? The answer is simple: always treat everyone equally! But stop! How is that supposed to work?
Children were able to ask these and other questions about justice, fairness and freedom to the experts at the event together with Julian Janssen, known from public children's television as "Checker Julian".
On the podium were:
- Assata Frauhammer, journalist and author of the children's non-fiction book "Voll ungerecht! - On fairness and justice"
- Dr. Romy Simon, Chair of Counselling and Social Relations, Institute of Social Pedagogy, Social Work and Welfare Science, TUD
- Stefanie Gerstenberger, Chair of International Politics, Institute of Political Science, TUD
- JProf.in Dr.in Katharina Kaesling, Juniorprofessorship in Civil Law, Intellectual Property, in particular Patent Law and Legal Issues of AI, Institute of International Law, Intellectual Property and Technology Law, TUD
This event was for children aged 6 and over and their families.
To ensure fairness, the entire show was interpreted live in sign language.
In cooperation with the Dresden Municipal Libraries.
The event took place as part of the Science Year 2024 – Freedom in the funding project "Democratic freedom - gain, experience, preserve".
