Test
On the top of the speakerphone, there are touch-sensitive controls for volume control, microphone mute, call answer and hang-up. LED indicators visually clarify these functions. The rear upper shell can be pushed back. The resulting slot accommodates a tablet or smartphone.
The on/off switch is placed on the right edge next to the Bluetooth button. Next to it are the battery indicator and an audio output. Overall, everything is clearly arranged and easy to use.
Using the speakerphone via USB cable works immediately for Windows, macOS and Linux after the operating system recognizes it.
The connection with a Samsung smartphone via Bluetooth works just as smoothly. Bluetooth pairing with a Pixel C Android tablet also worked immediately. Smartphone and tablet have a secure firm stand in the holder.
To test the quality of the microphone, recordings were made at a distance of 0.4m to 4m. The audio can still be understood quite well even up to a distance of 4m.
Conclusion
The Logitech Mobile Speakerphone P710e can be put into operation variably and easily via Bluetooth connection and USB port. The operation is immediately understandable. The sound is transmitted very well up to a microphone distance of 2m. Even at a distance of up to 4m, the sound is still relatively well understandable. It is suitable for one person or more, or for smaller groups that can center themselves around the mobile speakerphone accordingly.
