Teaching and Learning Space for Inclusion Transfer Project
Project management: Dr. Frank Beier and Tina Czaja
Objective
The aim of the transfer project is to identify and exploit the spatial and material potential of the classroom in order to create a learning environment that is conducive to learning and can be adapted to heterogeneous learning requirements. The model room "Teaching and Learning Space for Inclusion" at the Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research at TUD Dresden University of Technology serves as the starting point for this. Together with the 117th elementary school in Dresden, this concept will be adapted to the specific teaching conditions at the location. The project is being monitored as part of a process evaluation so that aspects that promote and hinder learning can be identified as part of the transfer. The results will be incorporated into the further design of the Teaching and Learning Space for Inclusion at TU Dresden and thus into the training of future teachers. In addition, the project will develop design principles for inclusive classrooms that can provide evidence-based and proven impulses for the equipment of schools in Saxony.
