About the Center
Founded at the end of 2017, the Centrum Frankreich | Frankophonie (CFF) is broadly interdisciplinary and has members from numerous Faculties, including the School of Humanities and Social Sciences as well as the Faculties of Mechanical Science and Engineering.
The CFF sees itself as a place for German-Francophone academic and cultural exchange, a contact point for international cooperation and a mediator of expertise in Francophone cultural areas.
The CFF cooperates with the DRESDEN-concept partners, supports the "Culture and Societal Change" Research Priority Area and contributes to the visibility of TU Dresden's international relations.

Photo exhibition
"Poser pour la liberté. Portraits de scientifiques en exil / Standing for freedom. Portraits of scientists in exile"
This photo exhibition about researchers and scientists in exile was created in collaboration with the scientist and curator Pascale Laborier and the Berlin-based French photographer Pierre-Jérôme Adjedj.

From April 4 to May 17, 2022, she was a guest at TU Dresden (Auditorium Center, Foyer, Bergestraße 64).
For internal TUD organizational reasons, the exhibition had to be dismantled on 17 May as planned.

Ralph Ludwig "L'Errance et le rire. Un nouveau souffle de la littérature antillaise"
The Romance philologist Ralph Ludwig, Chair of Romance Linguistics / French and Spanish Linguistics at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, presented his book L'Errance et le r ire, published by Gallimard (Paris) in February 2022. Un nouveau souffle de la littérature antillaise.

Development of a student project in schools as part of the Institut Français Deutschland's call for proposals "Ecological change: Europe's future or green utopia?" on the initiative of the Office for University Cooperation of the Institut français Deutschland (IFD) and funded by the Franco-German University (DFH).

Lou Lubie - comic author and illustrator
The French comic author Lou Lubie introduced herself and her latest work Et à la fin, ils meurent (2021), published by Delcourt (Paris).
The book deals with the origins of various fairy tales in a humorous way, while also addressing issues of gender and racism.
