The OSM

Flexible, practice-oriented, forward-thinking: That's the Orientation Program (German abbrev. OSM) of TU Dresden. The OSM enables you to find a study program that matches your skills, interests and future plans. In short: a study program that suits YOU! And the good thing about it: The exams you take during the OSM can be credited to your subsequent studies upon application.

Program

An extensive program supports you in finding the right course of study and in starting your subsequent studies well prepared. You will attend regular lectures, close gaps in your knowledge of mathematics or write your first academic texts, work in a team on specific projects and gain insights into professional practice.

Admission, costs, application

Enrollment takes place in the winter semester and in the summer semester. Apart from the semester fee, there are no costs for the OSM basic program.

The Orientation Program – Try Studying

What should I study? Which study program really suits me? Do I want to study at all? The Orientation Program of TU Dresden aims to provide answers to these questions. 

With the Orientation Program, you have the chance to get a taste of various study programs. You can attend lectures, participate in workshops and excursions, take exams, go to the university cafeteria and get to know student life.

In the course of the Orientation Program, you will intensively examine your own interests, abilities and goals, so that at the end you are able to make an informed and motivated decision for your future.
