Applicants with a foreign university entrance qualification that does not grant them direct access to university education in Germany pursuant to the qualification comparability regulations of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs must attend a Preparatory College (Studienkolleg) prior to studying. Study contents

Das Studium umfasst Grundlagen und ausgewählte Schwerpunkte der Fachwissenschaft und die Fachdidaktik.
Studieninhalte sind die Sprache Latein, Werke, Autoren und Epochen der römischen Literatur, die griechisch-römische Kultur sowie die Methoden ihrer wissenschaftlichen Erschließung. Fachdidaktische Inhalte sind zentrale methodisch-didaktischen Probleme und Fragestellungen.
