LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, ResearchGate, blogs, or podcasts offer researchers great opportunities to take part in public debates about science, to publicly communicate their topics and interests, and to network.
How can you benefit from active use of social media and what rules must be observed when communicating online? How do you strengthen your digital profile? And how much self-portrayal is necessary to be seen? The interactive social media seminar gives you an introduction to virtual science communication using practical exercises and provides tips and tricks on how to use selected social media that suit you effectively and with pleasure. You will learn to communicate your science in a comprehensible way, set the right tone in social media, and cultivate virtual exchange with various interest groups.
