Call for Nominations for Diversity-Sensitive Teaching Prizes 2020
This year, TU Dresden is awarding the Best Practice Prize for diversity-sensitive teaching. The prize is intended to highlight the crucial significance of excellent teaching for all students.
All students and employees of TU Dresden can submit nominations for the prize until 17th July 2020. The winners will then be selected by an expert commission on the basis of the award criteria.
All students, employees, university initiatives and university groups at TU Dresden are eligible to submit nominations. Students are especially encouraged to participate by submitting suggestions. It is also possible to nominate yourself.
Prize for diversity-sensitive teaching
The goal of the prize for diversity-sensitive teaching is to acknowledge exemplary teaching concepts, courses and lecturers or professors that incorporate diversity aspects into the course design. In this way, the students are made more aware of diversity equality issues, which are an indispensable part of a modern and successful university.
A total of up to 10.000 euro in award money is available for the diversity-sensitive teaching prize.
