In order to better support all TU Dresden students in writing academic papers, the Writing Center team has compiled methods, tips and checklists from eight years of Writing Center work in the expanded and revised new edition of Yump-Start your Writing. Just like the first edition from 2018, the structure of the almost 70-page new edition is based on the phases of the writing process so that students and lecturers can quickly find the right method to try out or incorporate into courses.

Yump-Start your Writing is available digitally and in print, in both German and English. It can be downloaded as an accessible PDF with a form function for immediate editing via the Writing Center's website: to Yump Start your Writing for downloading (PDF with form function) In addition, the new edition of Yump Start your Writing replaces the first edition in the TU Dresden WebCMS, so that the previous link automatically leads to the new edition.
