Everyone who needs support or advice always can get it. I also received help and support when I needed it. Being a part of the team of the Graduate Academy means to get a chance to pay back for that. Moreover, I want to be an active, fully-functioning part of the community of the most intelligent and educated people from all around the world. I want to meet and get to know as many members of this beautiful community as possible. Being a part of the DDocs means for me to be able to be grateful to our Alma Mater and contribute to its positive image on the international academic arena.”

desire to advance the networking among resident and non-resident PhD

"I just started my PhD in January and despite being a TUD for the past two and a half and years, I still struggled with registrations and matriculation, etc. and would honestly love to address these issues so the process is smoother for the next students that come in. Lastly, being Indian and in a field like Civil engineering which is dominated by men, I have had to face sexism and racism quite often and understand the need for strong empowered women, empowering women. If you guys think I would fit in well and bring something unique to the table, I would love to be a part of the student council"
