The ESF Project “Orientation Platform Research & Practice” (OFP) is inviting students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to the "Practice Invasion" in the Audimax on Tuesday, December 6.
Dr.-Ing. Andreas Schmidt, Director of Quality at Porsche Leipzig and former site manager of the "Transparent Factory Dresden" will be the guest speaker. Central to his presentation are issues of gap dimension for hybrid car bodies and the driver efficiency system "Porsche InnoDrive".
In the OFP’s "Practice Invasion" series of events organised by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (dates: Dec. 6, Jan. 17, Jan. 31, in each case in the 5th double lesson), speakers from industry and commerce will present a specific task from the daily working practice at their companies.
The OFP is part of TU Dresden’s overall strategy of academic success and offers new students in the faculties and/or subjects of mathematics, chemistry, computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering insights into research projects and the future work practices in companies.
