Exploring Socio-Technical Research: Interdisciplinary Workshop by DIPCY und DGPuK
The research project "Disruptions of Networked Privacy" (TUDiSC) and the Sociology of Media Communication Group (DGPuK) invite you to an exciting workshop at TU Dresden on September 22 and 23. The workshop will offer in-depth insights into research projects that cross the boundaries between social sciences and IT. There will also be time for follow-up questions, discussions, and networking.
It starts on Thursday afternoon, September 22, with digital art by Esmeralda Conde Ruiz (Artist in Residence, Schaufler Lab) and a small reception. Friday, September 23, is workshop day. Special guests Autumn Edwards and Chad Edwards, renowned experts:in the field of human-machine communication, will give a joint session on "Qualitative Experiments." This will be followed by workshop insights into four other innovative research projects. For example, research in and with Living Labs or digital memory practices will be discussed. Exciting guests are invited! If you like, you can take part in an alternative city tour through Dresden's Neustadt (please register in time, as the number of places is limited).
