International Staff Training Week 2016
We are very glad to announce that we are organizing our second International Staff Training Week which is going to take place from
23rd to 27th May 2016.
During this week we hope to build new and enlarge already existing networks with our international partners. This project is part of our internationalisation programme and, therefore, also of our SprInt-programme, (equipping our non-academic staff with intercultural competences and language skills).
We do not only want to give you input about our best practice examples at TU Dresden but we are also looking for your experiences and best practices in your home university.
In addition to a general programme for all participants, we will be offering three specialist groups focusing on the following subjects:
- International Office: administrative services for academic exchange, mobility of students and university staff as well as integration of international incoming students
- European Project Center, Transfer Office, Project Scouts: administrative services for international research collaboration, knowledge and technology transfer
- Central Student Information and Counselling Service: How to give good counselling and support in the “student’s life cycle”? Our variety of services for a variety of target groups.
In our first staff week we were happy to welcome 30 non-academic staff members from 18 universities, mainly from Europe.
