Sustainable development is growing in importance as a research topic at TU Dresden. Starting from the vision that sustainability is measured and assessed in the most varied of disciplines, PRISMA is creating innovative assessment approaches to examine questions relating to a development that is economically successful and both ecologically and socially acceptable over the long-term, taking into consideration actual conditions of space and time. The objects to be assessed range from systems, institutions, organisations and individuals, through products and processes and on to materials.
Working at PRISMA are researchers from TU Dresden, from DRESDEN-concept partner institutions and additional partners who research in the field of sustainability assessment.
