Afterwork Talk: Limitations of Technology in Medicine
Katharina Langton, M.Sc.
Lilli Meseck
On October 29, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, the COSMO Science Forum will host an Afterwork Talk on the limitations of technology in medicine. Organized by Women@DDc Network and the Barkhausen Institut, this event will explore how medical technology supports people in old age and with certain illnesses but also where its limitations lie, such as in diagnostics or childbirth.
Our guests share their own professional experiences and the challenges they have faced regarding technology in healthcare. Together with the audience, they reflect on the potential and the limitations of scientific research and the role of human skills that technology cannot replace.
After the discussion, there will be an opportunity to network and continue the exchange.
