Workshop: Sharing Care Responsibilities - for women in science
The demands of studying/work and family life are often so high these days that even well-organised people reach the limits of their resilience. Constant stress weakens the body's immune system and has been proven to reduce personal performance.
In this workshop, young female scientists learn how to successfully cope with the demands of care work and career. They identify personal sources of stress and resources in order to strengthen their ability to act through self-regulation. Through effective communication and self-management, they master everyday challenges and develop routines for balancing family and research work.
The workshop consists of 4 modules:
- Individual inventory & understanding of stress mechanisms
- The language of emotions: Recognising and formulating your own needs
- Developing coping strategies and utilising resources
- Better self-management through self-regulation
Following the workshop, there will be a separate follow-up appointment to reflect on developments and what has been learnt. The trainer will arrange the date with the participants
- Language: English
- Places: The workshop is limited to 10 places
