Coaching and Resilience training
Coaching
Individual coaching offers the opportunity to deal with professional or personal issues in a confidential atmosphere. Coaching ideally starts before circumstances become stressful or critical. In this sense, we also understand coaching as a preventive offer.
Typical topics include significant decision-making situations, preparing for difficult conversations, or personal/professional development issues.
Unlike in counseling, methods and techniques are also freer and more creative, as needed. Self-reflection is a central element, while potential solutions suggested by the coach and the transfer of psychological know-how are only optional. During the coaching, YOU have even more control of whether to implement the solutions offered than in counseling sessions.
Please note that the availability of coaching and resilience training may be limited.
- Doctoral and postdoc students please refer to the offers of the Graduate Academy
- Managerial staff please refer to the offers of the Center for Continuing Education
Resilience Training
A special offer in coaching is to look at your own resilience. Resilience in this context means psychological resistance or the "immune system of the our soul". Strengthening your own resilience in good and vigorous times helps you stay stable when things get difficult or when challenges present themselves. As part of resilience training, we look together at what exactly is behind the term, where you are already doing well and where you would like to develop or change in the future.
Please also note corresponding offers in the respective current catalog of the Center for Continuing Education.
