Sabrina Repp: First-time graduate is Alumna of the Month for December
Sabrina Repp was the first in her family to go to university. Influenced by her family's experiences during the reunification period, she became involved in politics at an early age and decided to study political science at TU Dresden. Today, Sabrina Repp is the youngest German Member of the European Parliament, where she campaigns for regional development and the promotion of young people in education and culture, among other things.
Her advice to first-year students: "Be open to new perspectives and actively engage with different opinions. Take the opportunity to network and think outside the box. Be aware that engagement outside the lecture halls - be it political, social or in projects - can be at least as valuable as academic success."

TU Dresden graduates have the opportunity to stay in touch with their alma mater by becoming a member of the TUD alumni network.

In addition, the "P.E.A.C.H." project will be funded in 2025 as part of the Incentive Fund for Equality and Diversity 2025. This platform aims to convey empowering guidelines and the wealth of experience of first-time academics in higher semesters.
