What is the legal basis for processing personal data?
Of course, participation in the program is voluntary. If you decide to participate, your personal data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
How is personal data processed, how long is it stored and is it transferred to third parties?
Only the personal data provided in the application form or attached documents are processed for the purpose of using and implementing the program. The data and documents will be deleted once the purpose of the program no longer applies, but no later than 12 months after the end of the funding period. Data required for proper proof of the use of funds at TU Dresden will be stored for a period of 10 years due to budgetary regulations.
Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you have expressly consented in individual cases, no personal data will be transferred to third parties.
What rights do data subjects have?
To exercise your rights, it is sufficient to notify the controller in text form (letter or e-mail). You have the right to request information about the personal data processed about you and the possible recipients of this data at any time. In addition, you can request the correction, deletion and restriction of data processing or lodge an objection. If you withdraw your consent, you will no longer be able to participate in the program. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
