What is the legal basis for processing personal data?
Of course, participation in the event is voluntary. If you decide to participate, your personal data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e) GDPR (performance of tasks) in conjunction with § 5 para. 2 no. 11 and no. 12 SächsHSFG (tasks of the universities) and § 3 SächDSDG (permissibility of processing personal data).
What personal data is processed?
Surname, first name, e-mail address, affiliation to the group of employees or students, including assignment to faculty or organizational unit are processed.
How long is personal data processed/stored and is it published?
Personal data will be deleted no later than two weeks after the end of the event, provided there are no legal grounds for deletion.
Personal data will not be transferred to third parties. A list of participants is only created for internal purposes and is not made available to event participants.
What rights do data subjects have?
To exercise your rights, it is sufficient to notify the controller in text form (letter or email).
You have the right to request information about the personal data processed about you and the possible recipients of this data at any time. In addition, you can request the rectification, erasure and restriction of data processing or lodge an objection.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority for data protection. The competent supervisory authority is the Saxon Data Protection Officer, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, www.datenschutz.sachsen.de.
