"FAKE SCIENCE?!" Future Lab: Information on Data Processing

1. Objective and Data Collection Unit
The personal data collected via the online registration form will only be used for the preparation, execution and follow-up (if necessary forwarding of event-relevant materials) of the Future Lab "Fake Science?!". The requested data will be processed by:

2. Data Processing
Statistical data such as
- number of participants
- type of participants (employee, student, professor)
- affiliation of participants (structural unit)
can be derived from the personal data requested in order to plan the event according to your needs and to use this data to prepare for future events of this kind.
With their registration, the participants agree to the sending of event-relevant e-mails.
3. Duration of Storage
All data requested in the online registration form will be stored. The data will be deleted after completion of the Future Lab, at the latest after 4 months.
On the day of the event, signature lists with names and affiliations generated from the data collected will be available. These lists will be deleted at the earliest after 10 years for the purpose of catering accounting and as proof of photo permission or refusal in accordance with the applicable retention periods.
4. Consent to the Use of Images
During the event, photographic material will be produced by service providers commissioned by the TU Dresden in to be used by TUD for documentation purposes, for follow-up work on the event and for announcing future events. This may also include photographic material depicting individual participants.
The online registration form asks whether the participants agree or disagree with the use of the images described above. Attendance lists will be available on the day of the event, on which the participants will confirm their agreement or disagreement with the use of the images described above with their signature.

5. Data Transmission and Publication
Personal data will not be passed on to third parties or published at any time.
6. Voluntariness and Revocation
The provision of all data is voluntary. The participants can refuse their consent or withdraw it informally with effect for the future by sending an e-mail to without stating a reason. In these cases, participation in the event is no longer possible. If the revocation takes place after the end of the event, the respective participant data will be deleted unless there are legal reasons to the contrary and as far as TU Dresden is technically capable of doing so.
7. Right to Access Information
Participants may at any time request information about data processed about them and possible recipients of such data. They are entitled to a reply within one month of the request for information being received.

Participants can contact the data protection officer of the TU Dresden as well as the responsible supervisory authority for data protection at any time:
