Childcare places
TU Dresden (TUD) makes it easier to reconcile work and family life by providing employees with a total of 37 places for children aged 9 weeks to school age in two childcare facilities close to the campus and in a day care center. At least one parent (a person with custody) must be employed at TU Dresden (including the Faculty of Medicine). Further information can be found in the terms of use for childcare places.

Childcare places at the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD) at TU Dresden
The Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD) of TU Dresden has reserved a total of 15 childcare places in the Biopolis kindergarten for its employees. These places are prioritized for CRTD employees. In case of non-occupancy by CRTD employees, free places can be made available to other TUD employees. Childcare places at the Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine/University Hospital Dresden
Employees of the Faculty of Medicine at TU Dresden also have the opportunity to use the 320 childcare places offered by the UKD in six daycare centers on the Johannstadt campus. If you are interested, please contact the Family Office of the University Hospital Dresden.
