trialGPT - an assistance system to foster the design of clinical trials
Clinical trials are a centerpiece of scientific progress in medicine. However, a large fraction of clinical studies fails.
We are convinced that artificial intelligence (AI), which is currently revolutionizing many aspects of human life, in many fields leading to unexpected and fast progress, can be applied to support a more efficient design process of clinical trials.
In this project, we want to use AI-methods in order to facilitate a more efficient design of innovative clinical trials. Specifically, we aim to develop a web-based assistance system in order to support and guide the researcher in the process of designing a clinical trial. Upon specification of an area of interest, the assistance system (working title “trialGPT”) shall help the researcher in an interactive process to design promising clinical trials.
