History Added Value through more perspektives 2018
- The Office of the Officer for the Protection of Women's Rights and Equal Opportunities has had initial experience with generating reflection slides that can be used to discuss individual and collective value grids and motivations for action since 2018. We have been working in workshops with the Gender Extended Research & Development Model(project: GERD model) designed by Prof. Dr. Claude Draude, Kamila Wajda and Prof. Dr. Susanne Maaß.
- "MEHRWERT durch mehr Perspektiven" was a project within TU Dresden's Institutional Strategy that was carried out in the summer semester of 2018. The core concern was to systematically raise awareness of and reflect on gender and diversity aspects in a targeted manner at all stages of research and development in the STEM subjects. The aim was to broaden the view of one's own subject as well as to find new starting points for interdisciplinary discourse.
- One female guest professor was invited for each of the School of Engineering Sciences, School of Mathematics and Environmental Engineering and School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. These academics gave lectures and accompanied the area-specific workshops.
The project was implemented by the Office for the Protection of Women's Rights and Equal Opportunities in cooperation with the GenderConceptGroup.
A video and documentation were produced at the end of the project.
