TU Dresden's audit process was successfully completed with the final workshop on the "Shaping Diversity" audit on 7 February 2024. Prior to this, workshops and working groups had been held in a two-year participation process, needs had been identified, measures had been developed and dialogue with other universities on the topic of diversity had been sought.

As part of the final workshop, all stakeholders involved in the audit process came together again and discussed the 33 measures developed in the audit process and their respective implementation status with the auditor Prof. Christian Ganseuer. Sophie Zimdars, coordinator of the "Shaping Diversity" audit, is delighted with the participation in the process: "I am thrilled that so many committed people have worked on ideas for a more diversity-sensitive TU Dresden over the two-year process. In the final workshop, we were able to come together once again, acknowledge the implementation status, reflect on the audit process, discuss the next strategic steps and celebrate the end of the audit process." An event is planned for spring 2025 to keep an eye on the measures initiated, their further development and implementation.
