»Logo. Two identical blue triangular shapes, rotated 180° relative to one another around the logo’s imaginary centre, face each other diagonally in an imaginary octagon, positioned at the bottom left and top right. The outer edges of the triangular shapes follow the sides on the left, bottom left and bottom; and the top, top right and right of the octagon, respectively. The inner edges run parallel to the edges on the left and bottom left; and on the right and top right respectively. The angular shapes resemble a greater-than and a less-than sign and enclose a void space which, in turn, resembles the capital letter Z, though it is not separated from its surroundings. To the right of this element is the three-line lettering “Technische Universität Dresden”.«
