A semester abroad
Table of contents
Studying abroad holds many opportunities, especially for teacher training students. Studying your own subject in a foreign language is a challenge that pays off in many ways. In addition to improving your foreign language skills, you will get to know other subject cultures and teaching/learning methods, expand your communicative and intercultural competencies, get to know another country at first hand, and improve your career opportunities.
Erasmus+ is the largest and best-known exchange program for studying abroad for one or two semesters – more precisely, in the predominantly European countries taking part in the Erasmus+ program. In addition, teacher training students have the opportunity to study outside of Europe through TUD worldwide and subject-specific university collaborations.
