New Approaches in Teaching
In the upcoming winter semester, the Chair of International Management is setting new accentuations in the "Managing the Multinational Company" module by organizing a short stay in Budapest for all participants.
Thanks to the ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), students from Germany, the Czech Republic, and Hungary will have the opportunity to share an inclusive learning experience.
In the coming winter semester, we are thus promoting not only professional development in international management but also placing a strong emphasis on intercultural competencies and social learning processes.
The ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programmes offer an innovative platform for international university cooperation, providing both teachers and learners with new and creative teaching methods. By combining in-person and online phases, they enable a flexible and sustainable teaching structure that optimally utilizes the advantages of both approaches. In the winter semester 2024/2025, students will benefit from collaboration and exchange with peers from Wrocław, Liberec, and Budapest.
At Andrássy University Budapest, a renowned European university, students will not only experience an impressive setting but also the dynamic challenges and opportunities of a multicultural academic community.
The stay in Budapest encourages students to improve their intercultural communication skills, gain new perspectives, and strengthen their social competencies. This experience significantly contributes to personal development and prepares them for the complex demands of the global job market.
This concept is made possible not only through ERASMUS but also through valuable academic networks and friendships that Professor Eckert has built over the years, from which students now greatly benefit.
Overall, we hope that this innovative teaching format, which combines traditional teaching methods with modern, interactive approaches, will bring students much joy, allow them to forge friendships, and be another highlight of their studies at IHI. This shows that Zittau is not just a province but truly at the heart of Europe.
