GliOmics "Integrative analysis of glioma omics data"
Gliomas represent a very heterogeneous class of human brain tumors. Molecular mechanisms driving the development of gliomas are only poorly understood. The application of innovative systems biology methods represents a promising strategy to better understand glioma development.
The Bioinformatics Core Unit develops systems biology methods for the integrative analysis of molecular brain tumor data sets. Together with wet lab partners, our goal is to gain novel insights into molecular mechanisms that contribute to the development of astrocytomas and oligodendrogliomas.
