Digital accessibility
Since September 2019, TU Dresden has been obliged by the Accessible Websites Act (BfWebG) to make its websites and mobile applications accessible. The legal requirements not only apply to publicly accessible websites, but also to all digital offerings on TU Dresden's intranet, including the content provided there. This means that all documents (e.g. PDF files) and media offered within a TU Dresden website must be accessible with immediate effect.
On the following pages, associate members of TU Dresden will find further information and helpful checklists on various aspects of digital accessibility. If you have any problems or special questions, there are also various contact persons for accessibility at TU Dresden.
- Tips for creating accessible documents
- Information on the use of accessible media
- Checklists and best practices for implementing accessible websites
- Checklists for creating accessible software and apps
- Overview of further training courses and materials on digital accessibility
If you notice any deficiencies with regard to the accessible design of websites or other digital offerings at TU Dresden, you can report them to us using the "Report digital barrier" form. Alternatively, you can contact the Barrier Reporting Office directly.
