What is the legal basis for the processing of personal data?
Of course, participation in the event is voluntary. If you decide to participate, your personal data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e) GDPR (performance of duties) in conjunction with § 5 para. 2 no. 11 and no. 12 SächsHSFG (duties of universities) and § 3 SächDSDG (permissibility of processing personal data).
Which personal data will be processed?
Name, first name, e-mail address, institute address, affiliation to DFG-coordinated programs of the TU Dresden are processed.
For how long will it be stored, and will it be transferred to third parties?
Personal data will be deleted at the latest after the event has been completed and proof has been provided to the funding body, provided that there are no legal grounds for deletion.
No personal data will be transferred to third parties. A list of participants will only be created for internal purposes and will not be made available to the event participants.
Which are the general rights of data subjects?
To exercise the rights, it is sufficient to notify the data controller in text form (letter or e-mail).
You have the right to request information about the data processed about you and the possible recipients of this data at any time. In addition, you can request the correction, deletion and restriction of data processing or file an objection.
You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority for data protection. The competent supervisory authority is the Saxon Data Protection Commissioner, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, www.datenschutz.sachsen.de.
